Unstuck

Are you feeling stuck in your current life circumstances? Do you hold beliefs about yourself or your life that limit the options that feel possible? Or maybe you’re seeking personal growth, but are unsure of where to start? When we become attached to an aspect or idea about ourselves that is outdated, it limits the possibilities that we see available to us, and we get “stuck”. Unstuck offers a deeper exploration of our conceptual self, the beliefs we hold, the narratives we attach to and the barriers we create to living a fully authentic life. When we learn to identify and release our limiting beliefs, we let go of the ideas that hold us back and become open to the opportunities in front of us. This creates space to reconnect with our authentic self, and our ability to set and achieve goals.

Key Concepts Covered:

  • Conceptual Self
  • Personal Scripts
  • Authentic Self
  • Values Clarification
  • Living in alignment with your values and goals (Purposeful Living)
  • Radical Self Care
  • Taking the Observer View
  • Yoga Practice (movement and breath)

BRENDA ROONEY

A lover of yoga, nature, and community, I prioritize these pillars as a way of life and how I take care of myself. My journey with yoga and mindfulness has been one of transformation, self-discovery, and acceptance. Nearly 15 years ago now, it became my way to express and explore, allowing the rest of the world to fall away so I could simply be. In the spaces where I practiced, I discovered a sense of community, and the relationships formed nurtured my growth and offered fresh perspectives. It has been through yoga that I have uncovered my mission of supporting others in my truest way. My hope is to always create a container where
others can show up just as they are.

AMY WINTERS

I am a registered psychologist and Mindfulness-based practitioner in Calgary, Alberta. I believe in a holistic approach to mental health and wellness in my professional and personal life, and view Mindfulness as a cornerstone to this approach. I believe that living a life that is in alignment with our authenticity is a fundamental component of mental wellness. I have a passion for exploration, time in nature, and lifelong learning, and am grateful for opportunities to collaborate, share and learn with others.
